Eric Solem

Eric Solem is a senior life science and R&D real estate advisor with more than two decades of experience guiding biopharma, advanced manufacturing, robotics, clean energy, and lab-based companies through complex real estate decisions. His work is centered on aligning laboratory, research, and innovation space with business strategy - helping organizations scale responsibly while navigating capital planning, regulatory considerations, and specialized facility requirements.

Throughout his career, Eric has brokered more than 1,000 commercial real estate transactions, with a strong concentration in research and development facilities, flex industrial environments, and technically complex lab spaces. He advises clients across the full lifecycle of occupancy decisions, including site search and selection, acquisition due diligence, financial modeling, lease negotiation, construction analysis, project management, and portfolio strategy. His approach is particularly valuable for growth-stage and venture-backed life science companies that require precision, speed, and long-term scalability in highly competitive lab markets.

Eric’s background blends operational discipline with entrepreneurial insight. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and distinguished graduate of U.S. Air Force pilot and instructor training, he brings structured decision-making and risk analysis to every engagement. He later earned his MBA in Entrepreneurship and Finance from the FW Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. He is Managing Principal & President of the Lee & Associates Boston and a founding member of the Boston office launched in 2020, where he continues to advise innovation-driven life science organizations on growth strategy, capital efficiency, and long-term portfolio positioning.
